Our Mission
To support and embrace Ethiopian believers residing in Britain, providing for their spiritual needs through Christian fellowship. These individuals may have previously been part of various Evangelical Churches in Ethiopia.
To carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, which commands, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News." We aim to win souls for Christ, thereby fostering and strengthening the unity among believers.
To proclaim the Gospel, affirming that "salvation comes only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ," and to reach out to non-believers, offering them the hope and truth of the Gospel while nurturing them in biblical doctrine.
To encourage believers to use their spiritual gifts, bestowed by the Holy Spirit, in service to the Lord. We aim to place them in roles where they can enrich others, thereby allowing them to spiritually prosper and further develop their gifts. Through this service, we believe their contributions will advance and fulfill the mission of Evangelical Churches.

Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible, consisting of two major parts—the Old and the New Testaments (66 books in total)—has divine authority and is therefore the eternal and irrevocable Word of God. It is also the sole principle for the relationship between the Church and God. (Jn 20:31; 2 Ti 3:15-17; Jos 1:8)
We believe that the Bible is sufficient in itself and bears sole authority, which cannot be added to or taken away from. (Rev 22:18; Deut 12:32; 2 Pt 1:20)
We believe in one God who is transcendent, eternal, and unchangeable. (Deut 4:1; 1 Ti 2:5; Mk 12:29-30)
We believe in one God who is one entity and yet reveals Himself in three different forms (personalities), known as the Trinity, signifying God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the Trinity was first introduced by the early church fathers. (Mt 28:19-20; 2 Co 13:14; Eph 4:4-6)
We believe in God the Father, who created the heavens and the earth, the visible and the invisible. (Gen 1:1-2; Prov 8:27-29; 1 Co 8:6; Eph 3:14-15; Jas 1:17)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was perfect man and perfect God, in whom there was no sin. He was born of the Virgin Mary, God’s only Son, came to earth in the form of a sinful man, was crucified, buried, descended to the dead, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to His Father. We also believe that He will come back to judge the living and the dead. His judgment will bring eternal life to those who believe in Him and eternal death to those who do not. (Jn 1:14-18; Jn 17:15; Gal 4:4; Lk 1:27,35; Jn 3:16; Jn 5:21; Jude 4; Jn 5:25; Mt 11:27; Mt 8:29; Mt 25:31-47; 2 Co 11:31; 2 Co 4:4; Col 1:15-17; Heb 2:3; Php 2:6; Ro 9:5; Ac 10:42; Ac 1:9-11; 1 Pt 3:18; 2 Co 5:21)
We believe that the Holy Spirit, being equal with God the Father and the Son, will guide all believers into all truth, as well as counsel and comfort them. We also believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual gifts of God through His grace. (Mt 28:18-20; Jn 4:24; Jn 16:7-15; Job 33:4; Rev 2:7; Ac 2:38-39; Ac 1:8; 1 Co 13:12; 12:4-11; Eph 5:18)
We believe that humanity has been under the wrath of God since the fall of Adam and that good moral principles cannot reconcile man to God. (Ps 51:4-5; Ps 58:3; Gen 8:21; Eph 2:3-5; Ro 8:17-18; Ro 5:12-14; 1 Jn 1:8-10; Ro 3:20-23; Prov 20:9)
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, which cannot be obtained in any other way except by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Jn 3:16; Ac 2:21; Ac 4:12; 10:43; 16:31; 2 Co 5:21; Eph 2:8-9)
We believe in water baptism carried out in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as commanded by the Lord Jesus. (Mk 16:15-16; Mt 28:18-20).
